Who is Jesus?
Part One
Some people say Jesus Christ was not human;
Some say He was one person acting in 3 different ways;
Some say He was not divine;
Some say He was a human robot;
Some say He was schizophrenic;
Some say He was a mutant.
WHO DO YOU SAY HE IS?
Let’s go to God’s word for the answer:
He is GOD: “No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.” John 1:18 (NIV)
He is HUMAN: “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.” Colossians 2:9 (NLT)
He is ONE: “I and the Father are one.” John 10:30 (ESV)
Simply put, He wasn’t God pretending to be human or a human with God-like features. Jesus Christ was genuinely, fully, and truly divine AND genuinely, fully, and truly human.
MEANING: Jesus Christ is one Person with two natures, God and Human.
